FileVision Announced New Process Management Solution for Enterprise
Filevision, a global provider for Information Relationship Management Software, launched Filevision 5.0. The existing Filevision solution integrates enterprise level document and information management, imaging, workflow and relationship management into a single product. Filevision runs on Windows platform and based on the framework, JADE. The software also incorporates Business Consulting and Problem Solving capabilities to enhance customer service.
The new version helps company increase productivity by managing business processes and information in a single, centralized system. In addition to the above features, the new version also includes addition features like Custom Behaviors, E-forms, a new Web Client, and Document Capture.
The new Custom Behaviors’ advanced macro language allows the FileVision system to automate company business rules while eliminating lengthy user processes. E-forms can now be filled out, viewed and printed from the FileVision Web Client. Additionally, documents can be scanned and filed in the FileVision system using the Web Client. The new Document Capture capability allows users to highlight text in a scanned document for quick indexing, or to use the new clipboard feature to quickly reuse text from scanned documents.
