IBM Announced New Software to Stay Connected With Mobile Device
IBM unveiled new Software services that is going to help Mobile users to make better business decision by connecting with co-workers, friends etc. This facility is so far available on PC only.
The mobile internet users are growing drastically around the globe. The new software will help users build applications for mobile devices. The new software will provide business intelligence, collaboration, social networking and business performance capabilities. This software will be compatible with lackBerry®, iPhone®, Windows Mobile®, and Symbian because it complies with open source standard. Developers will receive new tools from IBM to run existing sofware on Mobile Platform.
The new Mobile Software includes:
IBM Rational Business Developer
That helps developers create Web 2.0-style applications in IBM’s newest business language, Enterprise Generation Language (EGL). It runs on a mainframe or mobile devices.
IBM Rational Host Access Transformation Services (HATS)
This is a software that helps developers transform green screen applications into a mobile user interface and web services. Users can access mainframe applications from a mobile phone, PDA or other remote mobile device with high security.
WebSphere Business Monitor
This is business activity monitoring software that allows users to measure business process performance, monitor ongoing and completed processes, and report on business operations.
Tivoli
This provides the Service Management software that is a key foundational element for managing the delivery of mobile based business services. It includes the full range of capabilities that allow for the management of the entire mobile network backbone, including the mobile network, mobile devices, as well as mobile based services.
IBM’s Mobile Web Expertise
The new software is created based on IBM’s extensive research and investment in the development of mobile web products and services.
Many big companies like AT&T, Bharti, China Telecom, Sprint and Virgin Mobile are using IBM mobile software to improve their services and also to satisfy their customers.
