Intel is going to announce its latest release XML Software Suite 1.2 at SOA World Conference & Expo, November 19-21, 2008. The recent release will optimize the overall performance of SOA, SaaS and Web 2.0 based applications while lowering cost of ownership. Suite 1.2 is a set of C++ and Java runtime libraries for Linux and Windows. It offers better XML parsing and schema validation and makes XML Software Suite easier to integrate with Java development software.
The software is based on Intel Core i7 processors, StAX API for Java, increased compatibility with IBM WebSphere and Oracle WebLogic and uses Intel Core i7 SSE4.2 processor instructions. The suite provides better support of DOM tree. Intel will also support the Streaming API for XML, JSR 173. David Hinz, director of marketing and business development at Intel said that XML Software Suite 1.2 is based upon Intel’s next-generation Nehalem microarchitecture that enables developers to write parallel code which scales with hardware.
The user can download a free evaluation version of the software from here. The original price of the suite is $199.
