Mindtree partnered with iTKO LISA to offer service-oriented architecture (SOA) testing solution for travel, media, retail, banking, financial services and insurance markets. They will achieve this target by building a testing framework so people can use it easily. As per Mind tree, user can cut down the cost by 20% with this tool. LISA stands for “Learn, Invoke, Simulate, Analyze”.
MindTree’s Testing Practice tool provides detail solution for test methodologies, frameworks, tools and processes. It provides testing solution for IT application with high performance and reliability. As per the latest report of Gartner, IT services that includes SOA, Web services and Web 2.0 will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 27% from $58.9 billion in 2006 to $154 billion in 20101.
The fully integrated LISA suite of products can test from design, to development and throughout deployment to meet the full quality lifecycle needs of enterprise software and SOA applications. Also, one of the key features is Framework-driven test automation reduces regression test cycles by 30 to 50 per cent in time and cost. The other interesting feature is that it can handle applications with large numbers of concurrent users, and meeting performance requirements in stress conditions.
“SOA applications are gaining momentum in the IT services market, and as adoption increases, MindTree is intensifying focus on providing industry-specific testing solutions with a core SOA test team approaching 200 people,” said Ananda Rao Ladi, vice president and head of the Testing Practice at MindTree.
