Review of Zephyr, a Test Management Tool
Overview:
Zephyr is a next generation Test Management tool to monitor the daily flow of QA. It helps the testing team to manage their test cases and provide test cases visibility at all levels using a central repository. The software is targeted at global SME, IT departments and Testing Vendors .
The tool is developed with the latest web 2.0 features like RSS, Blogging, Collective Intelligence, Themes, Tag Clouds, Real-Time Data Push and so on. It also uses Adobe Flash player to create the interfaces.
You have to register to download the software. Currently, they are providing 3 free user license for 12 months. Then, it costs $65/user/mo.
Features:

Disadvantages:
Some users complain about the following issues to run the software and I found some of them are valid points.
- Retype needed if you wrongly input your password. The system complains about wrong password and wipe out both User Name and Password.
- The user interface is too dark and sometimes it is confusing.
- There are two steps for login, one for Zephyr system and other for Bug tracking system.
Conclusion:
Zephyr can be integrated easily with other system for its Service Oriented Architecture. It is a great Test Management tool for global SME, IT Departments and also to the Testing Vendors.
