Savanna .NET v2.0 Warehouse Management Software Released
Westfalia Technologies, Inc., provider of logistics solution for industries, announced the release of Warehouse Management system Savanna .NET Ver 2.0. The upgraded version has the additional features like user error handling system, and it supports both Oracle and SQL Server database platforms. It can also manage conventional and automated warehousing systems.
Also, the upgraded ver. supports Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). LDAP is a commonly used protocol that allows Savanna.NET to query directory service information from an LDAP configured server.
Savanna.NET® Version 2.0 is based on 3.5 of the Microsoft .NET Framework. So, it can readily operate under all customary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems so that all existing technology/hardware and hardware/software interfaces can remain in full use. In addition, the open .NET architecture allows linkup of logistical data registration and processing via Web surface-based (XML) platforms.
The solution gives any size company the ability to gain the 30% efficiency and speeds typical in warehouses with a WMS. Company can move from fully conventional to fully-automated warehouses easily at the same time.
