Time.com released its first annual Blog index, featuring the top 25 blogs of 2008. Many of them are predictable selections - well-known blogs like BoingBoing, Andrew Sullivan, Daily Kos. It’s a great indication that traditional media is leveraging new media to engage bloggers by talking about blogs.
“From millions of blogs about nothing, we’ve selected the 25 best about something—from politics and global affairs to shopping and sports. And, yes, we’ve got a few about nothing, too”, says Tom McNichol, Time magazine.
