Google believes in clarity and focus. They demonstrate the idea that customer gets first priority and makes the profit. For the past ten years, Google has been helping people navigate the Internet and find exactly what they were looking for. In my opinion, the main reasons that Google is so great are:
- Innovation: Since the day one, google is dedicated to develop innovative technologies and products that continue to change the way the world runs. Google is committed to serve millions of people. At the same, they keep an eye for the future as a good visionary.
- “We are focused on providing an environment where talented, hard working people are rewarded for their contributions to Google and for making the world a better place,” says Page. As a company, Google emphasized on teamwork a lot and at they same time they reward innovation and creativity. That’s why they can attract intelligent workers across the world and become more competitive.
- Google share the resources among networking groups, workshop, conferences and publications. That enables organizations to learn from each other and benefit them to share knowledge with reputed companies.
- Technology: We may wonder how Google Search work with such an accuracy and speed. The heart of the technology is Google PigeonRank , developed by Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, that ranks web pages. Low cost pigeon clusters (PCs) could be used to compute the relative value of web pages faster than human editors or machine-based algorithms.
- As per the recent study, the combined advertising revenues of Google and Yahoo! will rival the combined prime-time ad revenues of America’s three big television networks, ABC, CBS and NBC. AdWords is Google’s main advertising product and main source of revenue ($16.4 billion in 2007). AdWords offers pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and site-targeted advertising for both text and banner ads.
