Water Based Data Center: New Idea of Google
Tuesday, September 30th, 2008Google applied for a patent for an innovative concept: Wave Powered Data Center. The data center consists a system that includes a floating platform-mounted computer data center. The data center consists a number of computing units, a sea-based electrical generator that provides electrical connection for those computing units, and one or more sea-water cooling units for providing cooling to those computing units.
