Informatica, the global leader of Data integration is going to provide Web based data integration between a company’s onsite applications and databases, and its Salesforce CRM system running in Salesforce.com’s data center. The announcement will be made in the next week at Salesforce.com’s Dreamforce conference. Informatica is one of the biggest business partner of Salesforce. The Informatica SaaS Service starts at $1,000 per month per integration.

Zmanda, the global provider of open source back up and recovery solution like Amanda Enterprise, Zmanda Recovery Manager (ZRM) for MySQL, and Zmanda Internet Backup solution, announced today Zmanda Recovery Manager (ZRM) Enterprise version 3.0 for MySQL. ZRM 3.0 also provides linux support with the addition of Ubuntu and Debian Linux. The price for Windows editions starts at $300 per server.

Oracle initiated hardware business in partnersip with HP for the first time in 31 years history. Oracle introduces HP Oracle Database Machine which is 10 times faster than current Data Warehouses. Chief Executive Larry Ellison launched the product at Oracle customer conference in front of 43,000 people. It took three years to develop the product. The database machine will sell for $650,000 and store up to 168 terabytes.
