Intel Goes Ahead with Remote Access Technology to PCs

Intel developed new technology that will let the users access to a PC remotely and also retrieve the files over the internet. They are going to incorporate Remote Awake technology to the motherboard which is an improved version of Wake-on-LAN or Wake-on-WAN technology.

Micron Plans to Roll Out 256 GB SSD for Notebook this fall

Micron announced on Tuesday that it plans to launch 256 GB Solid State Drive this fall. The devices will be targeted for enterprise server and notebook PC applications. Although, Micron didn’t announce the price, sources suggested that the price for 256 GB SDD would be around $500.

Toshiba Announced three Centrino 2 Biz Laptops

Toshiba celebrated the release of Centrino 2 by announcing three new business laptops built on the new platform: the Tecra M10, Tecra A10, and Satellite Pro S300. All three systems will be available starting in early August.

Dell Launches Studio Laptop

Toshiba Claimed to Launch World’s Lightest Laptop

Toshiba Corp. today launched an ultraportable laptop, Portégé R500-S5007V that it claims is the world’s lightest laptop. The device weighs 2.4 lbs with one 128GB Solid-State drive.
