The company will announce Tuesday a new chief executive, Richard Kimber, the regional managing director of South Asia for Google and $20 million of new funding. Also, they are going to have a fresh look on Asia.

Vito Technology released Task2Gather, an Online task management tool based on web 2.0 technology and it is free service. Users can sign in to the service and start organizing their to-do tasks right away. Users can get a paid subscription if they require additional services like reports, file attachments, advanced security, and RSS, among many other features. The client version for Apple iPhone or Win Mobile client is coming soon.

Since the release of iPhone there is a rush to launch new Mobilesite. Digg took advantage of it and launched its new mobile site m.digg.com. All graphics and other unnecessary information has been completely disabled off this data, allowing it to load on a mobile device as quickly as possible.

The popular social bookmarking service Del.icio.us launched today. It’s a complete redesign of its service. The company added very few new features since when it was bought by Yahoo in 2005. The new site is mostly focused on enhancing the speed of the service and improving its search capabilities. Del.icio.us can also now be reached at delicious.com and will start using this as its standard URL.

The main popularity of Google is its ability in having extensive database of links, which at the last count, has exceeded one trillion. Two Google engineers on Friday said that Google’s index of the Web now contains 1 trillion unique URLs.

One year after announcing its homegrown mobile Linux project, Intel prepares to hand Moblin over to the open source community. Intel is readying a second release of the Moblin open-source platform for mobile computing, with plans set for an alpha-level version in a few weeks, an Intel official said at the O’Reilly Open Source Convention (OSCON) in the US on Wednesday.
