HP Launched new Enterprise Resource Planning Solution based on Integrity Blade Server

HP, yesterday announced ERP solution to improve the operational efficiency for increasing business need at Asia Pacific region. The solution includes HP Integrity BL860c server, the virtualized HP StorageWorks EVA4400 storage array and HP management software with the industry-specific  SAP(R) Business All-in-One.The solution supports HP-UX, Microsoft Windows(R) 2008 and Linux SuSE. It is also compatible with databases such as SAP MaxDB, Oracle(R) database and Microsoft SQL Server.

New IBM Web 2.0 Software Bridges the Gap between Enterprise and Web

IBM today announced that its new portal software, IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1 Beta, with Web 2.0 support is going to narrow the gap between Enterprise and Web. The public beta is now available from ibm.com - WebSphere Portal 6.1 beta. The new portal supports IBM AIX, HP-UX, IBM I5/OS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Sun Solaris and Microsoft Windows Server.
