IBM Made a Deal for the Acquisition of ILOG

IBM struck a deal to acquire ILOG that valued $340 million . IBM will merge ILOG into its WebSphere brand which will enhance the capability of its middleware. Middleware includes web servers, application servers, and similar tools that support application development and delivery. ILOG BRMS provides easy, safe and predictable control over automated business decisions with the right tools for business managers, analysts, architects and developers

Oracle to Buy BEA Systems

Oracle came to an agreement to buy BEA systems for $8.5 billion. The middleware vendor declined the offer of $6.5 billion three months back.
