Study Says Firefox is the Most Secure Browser

Over 600 million users are surfing the Web with a potentially unsafe browser, according to a Swiss study released this week. Among the least compliant were users of Internet Explorer, which currently dominates the Internet browser market. The study was conducted by ETH Zurich, Google, and IBM, examined the Google logs of users browsing the Web between January 2007 and June 2008.

Wordpress Security Lapse Cause Mass Hacking Attempt of Blogs

Apple Releases Latest Version of Quick Time

Apple has again released a new version of QuickTime, its multimedia player that has been plagued by software vulnerabilities. The latest version, 7.5, fixes five vulnerabilities, all of which could result in a hacker taking control over a person’s PC.
