Sun Microsystem unveiled new version of Virtualization Software  Sun XVM VirtualBox which is a free. Simultaneously, Sun also announced Enterprise Sun XVM VirtualBox with 24/7 Customer Support. The Virtual Box is a major open source software that supports Mac OS X, Linux, Windows, Solaris and OpenSolaris. XVM also extended its support for 64 bit Operating Systems like Red Hat Linux and Windows Vista.

Veritas Improves Linux Support for Utility Computing

Veritas Corp, provider of storage software solution, added further support for SUSE LINUX, VMware and Red Hat users. Now, users have better choice for Linux environment.  Now Veritas has all kind of software available for enterprise storage, data protection, high availability and automated provisioning software for the enterprise Linux environment.
