Sun launched Sun Fire X4450 server and Sun Blade X6450 server module, They consist of  Intel Xeon processor 7400 series and can run on latest version of Solaris 10 including Linux, Windows and VMware. The Sun Fire X4450 server and Sun Blade X6450 server module is scheduled to begin shipping next month, with price starting at $8,545 and $9,455, respectively.

IBM Launched eDiscovery Solution

eDiscovery is a new Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software from IBM which will help companies for their legal discovery requirements. IBM VC Requested to Make Linux Unique, Less Like Windows

Bob Sutor, IBM’s VP of open source and standards said at the Black Hat conference at Las Vegas that user should pay attention to design Linux interface less like windows. The UI design should comprise some unique and cool features. IBM joined hands with Linux distributors Red Hat, Novell, and Canonical at Linuxworld the day before to build “Microsoft-free PCs for business.”

Microsoft On Line Chief Decided to Leave the Company
